How far back can I see my eStatements?

You can view statements back farther than 18 months through online banking, and you'll get an email each time a new eStatement is ready. To sign up, go to the “Documents” tab within online banking.

How do I endorse a check for mobile deposit?

Endorse your check with “For Mobile Deposit Only at Blue Ridge Bank.” Mobile deposit is free for customers with a BRB checking account and the myBRB app, and requires enrollment — it's not automatic. *Wireless carrier data rates may apply.

Where does the contact information come from for the text or email passcode?

The phone number or email BRB uses to deliver your one-time passcode comes from the information we have on file. Need to update it? Contact your local BRB representative or customer service at (888) 331-6521.

How do I use Apple Pay in stores?

Look for the contactless and Apple Pay symbol at the register, hold your iPhone near the reader with your finger on Touch ID, and keep it there until it vibrates and beeps to confirm your payment was accepted.

How do I use Samsung Pay in stores?

Swipe up to launch Samsung Pay, place your finger on the home key or enter your PIN, choose your card, and hold your device near the reader. For traditional magnetic-stripe terminals, place the back of your device where you'd normally swipe until you see a payment-success message.

How do I use Google Pay in stores?

Look for the contactless symbol at the register, unlock your phone, hold it near the merchant's reader, and you'll see a confirmation right on your screen.

Why am I receiving an “account not supported” message in Google Pay or Samsung Pay?

Old G Suite accounts (issued by nonprofits, education, or government organizations) aren't supported in digital wallet — for example, a Gmail set up by your school. You'll need a standard Gmail account to enroll.

What happens if my card is lost, stolen, or misplaced?

Delete the card from your digital wallet and notify BRB customer service at (888) 331-6521 or customerservice@mybrb.bank (credit cards: creditcardservices@mybrb.bank), or visit your local BRB branch for help. When you receive a new card, re-enroll using the same steps.

What if my card has expired or is expiring?

Your digital wallet updates automatically when a new expiration date or CVV is issued. If that doesn't happen or you see an error, contact customer service at (888) 331-6521 or customerservice@mybrb.bank.

Can I remove my debit card from my digital wallet?

Yes — you can delete your card from your digital wallet at any time.

What if I dispute a transaction with a merchant where I used my digital wallet?

Digital wallet disputes are handled the same way as traditional transactions. Contact customer service at (888) 331-6521 or customerservice@mybrb.bank (credit cards: creditcardservices@mybrb.bank) for assistance, or visit your local BRB branch.

Can one card be enrolled on two devices?

Yes — you can enroll the same BRB card on multiple devices.

What do I do if my device is lost or stolen after I add my card to my digital wallet?

Use your device's find-my service to remotely erase or suspend the card, and contact BRB customer service at (888) 331-6521 or customerservice@mybrb.bank so we can disable the card on file. You can also visit your local BRB branch for help.

How do I get started?

Log into the Blue Ridge Bank app, select “Send Money with Zelle®,” enroll your U.S. mobile number or email address, verify your identity, and you're ready to send and receive.

What if I get an error message when I try to enroll an email address or U.S. mobile number?

Your email or U.S. mobile number may already be enrolled with Zelle® at another bank or credit union. To enroll with BRB, first contact the other institution to have it removed, then try again.

Is my information secure?

Yes. Zelle® uses the same trusted network and security that protects your BRB account. Keep your contact information current so you receive alerts about activity.

I'm unsure about using Zelle® to pay someone I don't know. What should I do?

Only use Zelle® to pay people you know and trust. Payments are quick and typically can't be reversed, so treat them like cash — don't use Zelle® for goods or services from strangers.

Can I use Zelle® internationally?

No. Zelle® only works with U.S.-based bank accounts and U.S. mobile numbers or email addresses.

Can I cancel a payment?

You can cancel a payment if the recipient hasn't yet enrolled with Zelle®. If they're already enrolled, the money is sent directly to their account and typically can't be reversed.

Someone sent me money with Zelle® — how do I receive it?

If you're already enrolled, the money moves directly into your BRB account — typically in minutes. If not, you'll get a notification with instructions to enroll and claim it.

How long does it take to receive money with Zelle®?

Money sent to an enrolled user typically arrives in minutes. If the recipient isn't enrolled yet, they'll need to enroll first, which can take longer.

Does Zelle® report how much money I receive to the IRS?

BRB may be required to report certain payment information to the IRS for business transactions; personal payments to friends and family generally do not apply. Consult a tax advisor for your situation.
